Sutter Health, UC Davis Medical Center and Catholic Health West are among many that are also paving the way toward a more green, sustainable environment for their patients and staff.

Roseville Solar Electric installed the photovoltaic solar system on the Kaiser Permanente Modesto campus.

Their energy savings is phenomenal. According to PG&E and Kaiser officials,

"Over the past 12 months, Kaiser has been credited with saving 14.5 million kilowatts in Northern and Central California, the equivalent of powering 2,100 homes and taking 1,100 cars off the road. It got rebates totaling $1.6 million and saved $1.7 million on energy."

The cost of the materials and installation was roughly $563,000, but they generate 55,000 kilowatts per year according to Doug DiFranco, a Kaiser spokesman in Modesto.

To read the full article, check out the Modesto Bee.

Roseville Solar Electric
www.RosevilleSolar.com

1,576 Solar Panels

According to Comstock's magazine, there are 1,576 solar panels powering the Lincoln Raley's grocery store.

The grocery store chain is based in West Sacramento and they expect to save 300,000 kilowatts per year on electricity.
